August 3 - August 7, 2020 | CORI Sail Car Design Challenge

In this five day make cycle geared towards kids ages 8 and up, makers will experience the engineering design process with a CORI Sail Car project. Through research, planning, constructing, testing and rebuilding, kids will learn to iterate on their CORI Sail Car to make their custom vehicle move farther than their initial design.

Together, we will learn the forces of kinetic energy and how it turns into mechanical energy to power the CORI Sail Car. And you will be adding your own creative style to the Sail Car by adding artistic elements to your design. It is a fun and engaging week working with tools and the engineering design process.
